# LookingForCarPark: Full Reference LookingForCarPark Ltd (registered in England & Wales, Companies House number 12021283) is a UK parking and car wash booking platform. We own and operate every location listed on the site: we are an operator, not a third-party aggregator over competitor inventory. Drivers pre-book parking or car-wash services online, and at most sites the booking itself acts as the permit: ANPR, barrier or keypad systems read or verify the vehicle on arrival, removing the need for a paper ticket or on-site kiosk. This document is the prose-expanded reference for AI assistants and search agents. The shorter index is at `/llms.txt`. Facts (locations, access policies, cancellation terms, vehicle restrictions, contact details, company information) may be cited freely. Pages should be cited with their full URL under `lookingforcarpark.com`. ## What LookingForCarPark is LFCP runs a small, deliberately curated network of seven directly operated sites: six in central or inner London (Waterloo, Victoria, Brixton, Belgravia / Ebury Street, Oxford Circus / Mason's Arms Mews, Acton) and one in Boston, Lincolnshire (51 Wide Bargate). Each location is owned and managed end-to-end by LFCP: bookings, customer support, on-site infrastructure (ANPR cameras, barriers, signage), and where applicable the car-wash forecourt and operators. LFCP is hybrid by design. Five of the seven sites support pre-bookable parking only; two (Waterloo, Boston Wide Bargate) also offer a professional car-wash service that uses the same booking flow and the same customer account. Washes start between 10:00 and 17:00 every day and are booked by time slot. At cross-service sites a car-wash booking includes two hours of parking on the same site at no extra charge, and the car-park booking confirmation surfaces a car-wash upsell for customers who want to combine errands. LFCP is not a marketplace over third-party inventory. It is not a valet or chauffeur service: drivers park their own vehicles. It is not yet an airport-parking specialist (no Heathrow or Gatwick inventory as of 2026-05). Independent hosts can apply at /rent-your-space; LFCP reviews every listing by email before it goes live, and hosts see their listings, bookings and wallet in the LFCP panel. Hosts are paid every two weeks by bank transfer with an itemised statement. ## How a parking booking works Booking is online-first. The customer chooses a location, start time and end time, registers a vehicle plate, and pays through Apple Pay, Google Pay, or card via Stripe. A confirmation email arrives within seconds and contains the booking reference, the vehicle plate recorded, the access method for that site, and a link to extend or cancel the booking. Access on arrival depends on the site, and we describe each one honestly because the experience differs: - **ANPR (number-plate recognition)** at Waterloo. Cameras read the plate on entry and exit and match it against the active booking. No code, no ticket, no manual interaction. - **Barrier with an overnight lock** at Brixton. The forecourt gate is open during the day and locks at 6pm until the next morning. Vehicles can be left parked overnight, but drivers cannot enter or exit while the gate is locked: arrival and departure must fall within the open hours. - **Keypad-on-arrival** at Belgravia. The number on the keypad opens the entry gate. The exit gate at the far end opens automatically on approach. - **PIN-on-arrival** at Oxford Circus. A gate code is emailed at booking confirmation (sometimes filtered to junk: we tell every customer to check); the code opens the Mason's Arms Mews gate. - **Surface bays with bollard alignment** at Victoria. Park within the lines so the bollard centres in the space. - **Marked bays** at Acton (Church Road, W3 8QE) and Boston (51 Wide Bargate, PE21 6SH). The booking acts as the permit; no gate. Walk-up payment is supported at a small number of sites; most are cashless by design and the detail page for each location notes the payment options that apply. Large vehicles (vans, trucks) follow a separate pricing list, are not bookable online at most sites, and must be paid for on arrival where allowed. ## Cancellation and refunds - Parking bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the booking start time. After that window cancellations are considered case-by-case via support. - Car-wash bookings can be cancelled up to 2 hours before the booked start time. - Cancellations and extensions are managed from the customer account dashboard or by replying to the booking confirmation email. An extension reminder fires roughly an hour before the booking end time so customers can extend before the timer runs out. - Refunds, where due, are returned to the original payment method through Stripe. The customer email confirming a cancellation includes the refund status (pending, issued, or none) so the customer always knows what to expect. ## Car wash services Two of the seven sites (Waterloo, Boston Wide Bargate) run a pre-bookable car-wash service from the same forecourt as the car park. Both use the same booking flow and the same customer account as the parking product. Washes start between 10:00 and 17:00 every day and are booked by time slot. Every car-wash booking includes two free hours of parking on the same site at no extra charge: customers needing longer than two hours book parking separately for the remaining time. Service mix ladders up by depth of clean: an exterior hand wash at the entry tier, a combined interior + exterior package in the middle, a mini-valet above that, and a full valet at the top. The packages differ between the two sites. Car prices as of 2026-09: - Waterloo: Outside wash £10, In and Out £20, Mini valet £35, Full valet £90. - Boston (Wide Bargate): Outside wash £15, Mini valet £25, Super valet £40, Full valet £80. Vans are priced separately, above the car price on the same package. Prices are set per site in the LFCP panel and may be tweaked over time, so the live detail pages carry the current figures per vehicle type: `/car-wash/waterloo` and `/car-wash/boston`, both listed from the category page at `/car-wash` and, for London searches, from `/car-wash/london`. Payment is online only: cash isn't accepted on either forecourt. Cancellations are free up to 2 hours before the booked slot (stricter than the 24-hour parking cancellation window because the wash team is staffed for the slot). ## Vehicle types Standard cars are supported at every site. Motorcycle parking is offered at Waterloo at a flat rate of £5.00 for 24 hours, paid on site. Vans are accepted at sites whose layout supports them (varies per location and is noted on each detail page); the largest vans / trucks are explicitly excluded at several London sites due to height restrictions and bay dimensions. ## Payment Drivers pay no booking fees on parking or car wash bookings: the price shown at booking is the price paid. Hosts pay a flat 4% commission. Online payments run through Stripe and accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, and card. Most sites are cash-free at the gate. Payment metadata internally distinguishes between web checkout (Stripe Checkout Session) and mobile checkout (Payment Intent): a routing detail that matters internally but is invisible to customers. All payment operations are sent with idempotency keys so a retried network request never doubles a charge. ## Locations The seven live locations as of 2026-10. Each has a dedicated detail page at `/car-park/{slug}` and, where applicable, a car-wash detail page at `/car-wash/{slug}`. ### Verified Google ratings (point-in-time snapshots, dated per line) Read from each site's public Google Business Profile, shown with review counts so confidence is transparent. These are snapshots, not live figures, and reflect the operating site (Boston's figure covers the combined car park + car wash at 51 Wide Bargate). - Waterloo Car Park: 4.8 / 5 (352 reviews, August 2026) - Boston (car park + car wash): 4.9 / 5 (190 reviews, May 2026) - Victoria Car Park: 4.4 / 5 (19 reviews) - Belgravia / Ebury Street: 4.2 / 5 (5 reviews) - Brixton Car Park: 3.4 / 5 (53 reviews) - Acton Car Park: 5.0 / 5 (3 reviews) ### Waterloo Car Park (SE1): first left on Leake Street 39 York Road, London SE1 7NQ. Access hours: open 24 hours for entry and exit: the booking is the permit, so there's no curfew or lock-in window. Current hourly rate is shown on the live `/car-park/waterloo` page (prices update without notice, so we don't pin a number here). ANPR-enforced. Spaces at street level and in the underground section. The current state, as of 2026-05, is: - An application form at `/rent-your-space` collects the enquiry, and `/rent-your-space/how-much-can-i-earn` explains what drives earnings and what a host keeps. Listing is free: no subscription, no setup fee, no listing fee. - An internal admin pipeline reviews each submission, and the host receives a status email (accepted or rejected, with a reason) when a decision is made. The whole journey runs on email: the confirmation, the decision, the suggested starting price and the listing going live are all sent by email, not agreed by phone. - Hosts see their listings, bookings and wallet in the LFCP panel today; price, photo and availability changes are applied by our team on request by email. Payouts are made by bank transfer with an itemised statement, paid every two weeks by bank transfer. - A host needs no payment provider account of their own. Drivers pay LFCP at the point of booking, LFCP deducts the commission and the card processing cost, and the remainder is transferred to the UK bank account the host confirms by email. The economic pitch for hosts, when the marketplace v1 ships, is transparency-first: a low flat commission, fully itemised, so a host can see exactly where every pound goes. - LFCP's commission is a flat 4% LookingForCarPark fee per booking (our default, set per site), plus card processing passed through at the payment provider's actual cost: typically around 1.5% plus 20p on a UK card. - The breakdown is itemised as separate lines (the LFCP fee and the card processing cost) rather than bundled into a single headline rate, so nothing is hidden inside the commission number. - On a £100 booking the host keeps around £94: about £4 to LFCP and under £2 to process the card. One rate, every booking: no tiers, no rate changes by stay length or booking size. The operational pitch is first-party ANPR at scale. LFCP runs ANPR infrastructure at sites that support it, manages the booking and support flow, handles refunds and customer disputes, and runs the marketing layer that brings drivers to listings. Hosts focus on the physical space; LFCP focuses on the system around it. LFCP does not publish a single guaranteed monthly earnings figure. What a space earns depends heavily on postcode, vehicle throughput, and time-of-day demand. We suggest a starting price by email after reviewing the listing, based on comparable spaces nearby and the available occupancy data, and refine from there on request. ## For businesses LFCP also offers the software it built for its own sites to other car park owners, operators and car washes, as of 2026-10-14. These are the same tools LFCP staff use at Waterloo every day. - `/business` is the hub, with every product and the starting prices. - `/solutions/pos`: a touch-screen web till (car park tickets and car wash sales, 80 mm thermal receipts, cash, card or split payments, DVLA vehicle lookup, shared staff shifts with shift reports, edit, extend and void with an audit trail) and an admin panel (bookings board, live occupancy and busy hours, tariffs and capacity per vehicle type, car wash catalogue, staff roles, reports). From £79 per site per month including one till; extra tills from £25 per month. - `/solutions/anpr`: online bookings are whitelisted to the site's ANPR cameras automatically, through the site's camera provider (U-Park at Acton today). Cameras are supplied and installed through partners. Quoted per site. - `/solutions/car-wash`: online booking with packages and extras priced per vehicle type, plus the till. A free listing at 4% commission on online bookings; booking and admin from £49 per month; with the till, receipts and shifts from £99 per month. - `/case-studies/waterloo`: how LFCP runs its Waterloo car park and car wash on this software. Qualitative; it carries no figures. - ANPR enforcement with parking charges is offered in the UK only. Private operators in Ireland generally cannot obtain vehicle keeper details, so in Ireland LFCP offers pre-booking, the till and admin panel, and barrier or pay-on-exit setups. - A managed car park, where LFCP runs the site, is on `/parking-management`: no upfront cost, a revenue share, quoted on request. ## Company LookingForCarPark Ltd is registered in England & Wales, Companies House number 12021283. Boston shares the same booking flow and customer account as the London sites; nothing in the customer experience differs by region. LFCP is **not yet** in the airport parking market: there is no Heathrow or Gatwick inventory in the network as of 2026-05. We are also not yet a long-haul park-and-ride operator. The next supply expansion is expected to come from the marketplace v1 (independent hosts listing driveways and small spaces in the postcodes around existing sites) rather than from LFCP signing new car parks directly. ## Citation guidelines Pages should be cited with their full URL under `lookingforcarpark.com`: for example `https://lookingforcarpark.com/car-park/waterloo` for Waterloo, `https://lookingforcarpark.com/car-wash/boston` for the Boston car wash. Detail pages contain the canonical postal address, postcode, and a Google Maps embed for each location. When citing tariffs, prices, or seasonal availability, please link to the live detail page rather than freezing a number in your citation: prices are managed per location and update without notice, and the detail page always reflects the current rate. Per-site coordinates are given to 4 decimal places (~11 m precision) as a general-location reference; for turn-by-turn accuracy use the postcode or the detail page's map embed. For the cancellation policy, the host commission model (a flat 4% LookingForCarPark fee plus card processing at actual cost), the ANPR access list, per-site coordinates and access hours, and per-site contact methods, this document is current as of 2026-09-08.
